Hello everyone!

Sorry for being missing for so long

I should upload more often! Lately I drew a lot, but I could never paint anything, I'm an idiot...!
However, I've recently had the opportunity to watch again Gankutsuou (does anyone know about this anime?) and made me want to draw a fanart… this series is amazing, I love it so much, and Albert is definitely my favorite character!
It's a very sweet, naive character, with a generous heart. I have a weakness for characters that should be filled with suffering and hate but they are only able to love and be compassionate. And Albert is one of them.
Talking about the drawing, I was inspired by a painting by Mucha! I would like to draw (in the same way) the Count, Franz and Eugenie (or Haydée) too but I don't know if I can find the time... anyway I hope you like it!

Adoro !!!
And you captured Albert's personality perfectly as well--he looks so sweet and pure, and not to mention, quite lovely! I love how elegant and calm he looks, and the sword was a wonderful touch.
The color palette is harmonious and gives a soft, delicate, and dreamy feel to the work. The smooth blending adds to this, as well, and the way that you color suggests depth and breathes life into the figure.
Also, I LOVE that the background resembles a clock--very clever! The pocket watch plays a large, symbolic role in the anime and I love that you found a way to incorporate that same symbolism in to this artwork (and did a wonderful job doing so!).
Overall, this is a beautiful piece and you did a fantastic job on it. Without a doubt one of my new favorite pieces of Gankutsuou fanart!
Also, I really love the way that you described Albert as being the kind of character who "should be filled with suffering and hate but [is] only able to love and be compassionate." That's a perfect way of describing him, though I had never thought about it before!
